Dr Tracey Tyler, Consultant clinical psychologist

Dr Tyler has worked in and led services in Child and Family, Learning Disabilities and Capacity, Autism, Adult Mental Health.

Dr Tyler has led national and regional clinical services for Adults, Looked After Children and families, Leaving Care, Mother and Baby Unit, Learning disabilites (adult and child) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Neurodevelopmental disorders

Dr Tyler has led national and regional clinical services for  residential care for Looked After Children, Learning Disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Provided training in all areas of mental health and clincial need in the areas of child and family including looked afer children, Adults, Learning Disabilities and Autism. Including neurodevelopmental disorders. 

Dr Tyler has extensive skills clinically in assessment, in particular high risk, complex cases. I am trained therapeutically including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) , Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Attachment and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) 

Between 2013 - 2015,   to develop her skills further Dr Tyler completed a Graduate Diploma in Law, part time at the University of Northumbria whilst working clinically.  

She has 17 years experience as an Expert Witness in Magistrate, County and High Court cases in the areas of Public and Private law cases plus Capacity.

Published work includes the Journal  of Family Law, The Journal of Social Work Practice. Presentations include National Conferences including The National Autism Conference.
